Background. Quick crafty project for today!materials & toolsa normal sheet. While these folds do make remarkably sturdy little envelopes, it would probably be wise to reinforce them with a bit of tape before sending out.
Lay the paper's patterned/decorated side down (so it's not facing you), then fold in each side of the paper — using the original envelope as a guide of where to fold.
You may not think that there is anything to know about folding a letter before placing it in an envelope, but this is wrong. 32 results for half fold envelopes. For the length, fold back the flap of the envelope, and measure from the bottom of envelope to tip of flap, just under the gummed strip. Download as pdf and print free.
